Diamond Exchange ID: what it is and how to get one
Your ID is the username and points balance you bet with. Here is exactly what you get, how we set it up, and the things worth knowing before you fund it.
What the ID gives you
Strip away the marketing and a Diamond Exchange ID is a single login into the DiamondExch platform. That login carries a points balance, and points are how you stake. One ID covers everything the exchange offers — cricket, football, tennis, kabaddi and the live casino floor — so you are not juggling separate accounts for each. When you win, the return lands in the same balance. When you want cash out, you request it against that balance.
People call the same thing by a handful of names: DiamondExch ID, Diamond 99, Diamond 365. They all point at the same account. If a friend told you to “get a Diamond ID for the match”, this is what they meant.
How we set yours up
We keep the process short on purpose. You message the desk, tell us a username you like, and we create the account against it. Within a few minutes you get your login credentials back. There is no lengthy form, no scanning of documents just to open the account, and no cost to create it. You only spend money when you decide to deposit.
- Open a chat. Tap any WhatsApp button on this page.
- Give a username. Pick one, or ask us to suggest a few.
- Receive your login. We send the username and a starting password. Change the password once you are in.
- Fund it when ready. Add a first balance over UPI or bank transfer.
New to exchanges? Ask for a demo ID first. You get practice points and can place mock bets so nothing about the interface is a surprise once real money is involved.
Backing and laying, in plain terms
The reason an exchange ID feels different from a bookmaker account is the lay option. Backing is what you already know: you stake on something to happen and collect if it does. Laying is the reverse — you take the other side, effectively acting as the book for that bet, and you win if the thing does not happen. On a cricket match you might back one team early, then lay them later in the innings to lock in a position as the price shifts. You do not have to use lay bets, but the ID gives you the option, and that flexibility is why a lot of regular punters prefer the exchange format.
Keeping the account yours
Once you have your ID, treat the login like any other account that touches money. Change the starting password to something only you know. Don’t share your credentials, even with people you trust to place a bet for you — open a separate ID for them instead. If you ever think someone else has your details, message the desk straight away and we will help you reset. Our login guide covers the common access problems and how to fix them.
Deposits, balance and withdrawals
Your points balance goes up when you deposit and when you win, and down when you stake or withdraw. Deposits use everyday Indian payment methods, mainly UPI and bank transfer. Every top-up is confirmed by message so you can see your points update. Withdrawals work the same way in reverse: you tell the desk the amount, we process it against your balance, and the money comes back to your account. There is a full walk-through on the deposit and withdrawal page.
Where the line sits
We want to be honest about our role. This desk creates and supports your ID and moves money in and out for you. We do not set the odds, we do not settle any market, and we never hold your bankroll ourselves — it stays inside your Diamond Exchange 365 account. If a site tells you it is the exchange and the payment processor and your account manager all at once, be careful. Read our about page if you want to know who is actually behind this desk.
The first five minutes after you get credentials
The desk sends your username and a starting password, and most people go straight to the cricket page. Slow down for five minutes and do these four things first. It saves the annoying stuff later.
- Log in once on the device you actually bet from. If that is your phone, do it on the phone, not the office laptop.
- Change the password. The starting one has been typed into a chat window. Replace it.
- Save the address properly. Bookmark it or add it to your home screen so you are not hunting for the link at 10:40pm before a toss.
- Send yourself the username. Not the password — just the username, in a note you will find again.
Picking a username, and killing the starting password
What makes a username you can live with
Short beats clever. Six to twelve characters, letters and a couple of numbers, nothing you have to spell out twice on a call. Avoid your full phone number and avoid anything that hints at your bank. The username is fixed once the account exists, so a rushed choice sticks around for as long as you bet. If nothing comes to mind, ask the desk for three options and take one.
Why the starting password has to change
The password we hand over travels through a chat. That is fine for the first sixty seconds and not fine for the next six months. Set your own, use something you do not use for email or UPI, and do not build it out of your birth year. If you forget it later the desk can reset it. If someone else guesses it, nobody can undo the bets they place with your bankroll.
One account works on the phone and the browser
There is no separate mobile account. The same Diamond Exchange ID opens in Chrome on a laptop and in the saved web app on your phone, and the balance reads the same number in both. Stay signed in on one at a time if you can — two live sessions on a shaky connection is how punters end up staring at a frozen in-play market. If you switch devices mid-match, close the old tab first.
What the points balance actually means
Points are the unit you stake in, and one point carries one rupee of value inside the account. The number moves in four ways: up when a top-up is confirmed, up when a market settles in your favour, down when you place a back bet, down when a withdrawal is processed. Nothing else touches it. Exposure on open bets sits separately, which is why the usable figure can look smaller than the total during an innings. Read the balance after settlement, not in the middle of one.
Sharing a login is where people get burned
Two friends, one account, one phone — it sounds convenient until a session bet goes wrong. There is no ledger inside the ID recording who staked what, so the argument afterwards has no referee. Worse, whoever holds the password can withdraw. We have watched enough of these go sour to be blunt: if your friend wants to bet, ask us for a second Diamond Exchange ID. It costs nothing to open and it keeps the friendship intact.
Closing an account and what happens to money left in it
If you want to stop, tell the desk. Withdraw the balance first — that request goes through the normal route and lands back in the account you deposited from. Once the balance reads zero, say you want the ID closed and we shut it down. Do not just walk away with points sitting in it. An idle account is not wiped on a timer, but chasing a small balance six months later is far more work than clearing it on the day you decide you are done.
Why an agent opens the ID instead of a sign-up form
Open self-serve signup looks easier on paper. In practice you fill a form, get an account, and then have nobody to ask when a UPI top-up sits pending for twenty minutes on a Sunday. The agent model puts a person between you and the platform: the same chat that created your Diamond Exchange ID handles the deposit, the withdrawal and the settlement query. The trade-off is that you have to trust the desk you picked, which is exactly why the next bit matters.
Red flags when someone else offers you an ID
- They ask for your password. No desk needs it. Ours can reset yours without ever seeing it.
- They promise a fixed return. Nobody can promise that on a betting exchange. Walk away.
- The payment name changes every week. A different random account for every top-up is not a business, it is a problem waiting to land on you.
- Nothing about withdrawals. If they only explain deposits, ask how cash out works before you send a single rupee.
- Pressure to deposit today. A real desk will happily open a Diamond Exchange ID and let it sit empty until you feel like using it.
Ready to get one
If you have read this far you already understand more than most people do on their first deposit. Message the desk, ask for an ID, and ask any question you still have before you fund it. There is no pressure to deposit just because you opened a chat, and the Diamond Exchange 365 overview is there if you want the bigger picture first.
